  • Use These 6 Manifesting Rituals To Supercharge Your Intention Setting

The Law of Attraction is just one law of the Universe that people have become extra obsessed with because it promises to bring you exactly what you want.

There are so many dimensions to this and there’s many different things that we need to take into account when we truly want to create something new: our subconscious beliefs, our actions, and the identity we’re embodying; as well as the thoughts and intentions that we’re putting out.

One of the big beliefs which can hold us back when we want to manifest something with the LOA is the belief that what we want isn’t really possible for us. That’s why I think it can be helpful to do some of these intention setting rituals to solidify your intention with something practical using one of the manifesting techniques I’ve listed below.

You’ll especially enjoy these if you’re into spells or anything witchy like that (as I always have been) and I like to call these… my witchuals.

Water is highly conductive to energy, more so than solid matter.

This means that you can supercharge water with intentions quite easily, and there are multiple ways that you can go about this.

When I was at a crystal healing workshop in Glastonbury a few years ago, we charged a clear quartz tumblestone with intention and then left it in a bottle of water for the duration of the class. When we drank it 2 hours later, I could feel a tingling in my throat and it had a different sensation to just drinking plain old water.

This is how the 2 cup method works. To do it, take 2 cups and put a post-it note on each one. On one cup, write your current situation, and on the other cup, write the thing that you want to manifest.

Fill your current situation cup up with water and then pour all of its contents into the 2nd cup with your future manifestation written on. Then, drink the entire contents of that cup.

While you’re doing this, the intention is the most important piece; and as you drink the water in the cup with your future manifestation written on, feel that the water representing that future reality is integrating with your entire being (because your body is 60%+ water!)

When you put that empty cup back down, know that it’s done and then forget about it until it manifests.

Again, this is a great one if you’re into witchy things, candles or fire.

Write your intention on a piece of paper and then place it under a brand new candle that you’re happy to burn all the way through. This means that I use different candles to my day-to-day ones for this because you’re not lighting it to enjoy the warm ambience and candlelight – you’re lighting it because you know that once the candle finally burns out, your intention has been released as a prayer to the Universe.

Therefore, you’ll need to put the candle on top of your intention somewhere that you don’t mind it being left day and night until it naturally fizzles out. If you’re worried about this, you could put them in an empty bath or put the candle in a small bowl of water with your note of intention underneath.

The most important thing is that you don’t blow out the candle before it’s naturally burned out. When you find that the candle has finished, then again – forget about it, surrender, and know that your intention has been taken care of.

Feeling into our desires is what gets us ready for them, and when our subconscious isn’t ready for something, it will automatically repel and avoid the actions which could get us closer to making our manifestation happen.

One of the ways that we can reprogram our subconscious mind is with visualisation.

The mind works well with images, especially if you’re a visual learner (like me). So, if the first thing you do when you wake up and the last thing you do at night before you go to sleep is visualise, your brain can embed those images into your subconscious.

At these times, your brain is going from an Alpha/Beta state, to a Theta state, to a Delta state when it’s asleep. As it moves through these brainwaves, the subconscious mind (or ego) is quietened, making your mind more suggestible.

Visualising the life you want – with all of the colour, sounds, smells and feelings associated with it – upon waking and drifting off to sleep will program your mind to welcome your manifestation.

I’m sure that most of you reading this already do journaling in some form or another, but if you don’t, it’s time to start!

Writing, for me, is the most powerful way to set an intention and the things that I wrote 2/3 years ago are now in the reality that I’m living today. When we write something repeatedly day after day, again we’re imprinting it into our subconscious mind.

Therefore, I made this FREE 11.11 MANIFEST REQUEST for you to download and print for your intention setting practice. This is the type of journaling that will attract your desires to you – simply write your intentions and then put them in a drawer for you to find years later once you’re living the life you’ve scripted here.

Download your 11.11 MANIFEST REQUEST here 👇🏾

For the last 4 years, I’ve made a paper vision board at the start of every year. However, 2021 was different…

I moved my vision board onto Pinterest, which actually works even better for me.

First of all, it’s entirely free, which means that you don’t have to worry about paper, ink or going to WHSmiths to buy an A2 piece of card – and you can change it throughout the year. You can easily add or remove pins as your vision changes.

For extra manifesting oomph, set a picture of this Pinterest vision board as your desktop background, phone screensaver, and look at the images during your morning and nighttime visualisations.

Your breath is your life force, so by breathing in your manifestation with intention, you are giving it life.

If you’re doing a full breathwork session, you can set your intention beforehand and then know that it is done and released at the end. I always get a huge high at the end of breathwork sessions where I feel totally elated and it’s a great time to receive any breakthroughs about how you can take the next action steps for your manifestation.

With breathwork, always make sure that you have a pen and journal next to you because it’s a great time to channel what you know you need to do next but maybe have been ignoring.

Any type of breathwork will do or even just a few deep breaths in the morning with the intention that you’re breathing in your manifestation before you head off to work.

As with all of these techniques, it’s all about the intention rather than the action itself!

    ☽ ☆ ☾

These rituals are only as powerful as the person doing them. When you align your mind, actions and energy with the things you want, you can be sure that success is on its way, so use these rituals as a tool to help you with this alignment process and have fun while you’re doing them!

Have you tried any of these rituals? If so, which is your favourite one?

  • Why I’m No Longer Using The Word “Woo”

Woo is a word that I will no longer be using…

I used to use it until I realised what I was trying to say: that even though I believed in what I was saying, I felt like I needed to tone it down to make it acceptable to other people.

When we say “OK, this is a bit woo, but hear me out…”, what we’re really saying is “I know you think it’s silly so I’m going to pretend that I don’t believe in it as much as I actually do…”

What I’ve found is that as I’ve moved further and further along my spiritual journey, I care less about what other people think because I’m more sure of what I consider to be truth. As I experience more and tune in more to the spiritual world, it leaves less room for avoiding or denying certain things – even if other people can’t see them yet.

Whether it’s psychic senses, energy, law of attraction, or astrology, if that’s really what you believe then you don’t need to water it down with woo. It’s OK for you to believe what you want to believe if you think that it’s true.

Next time you feel yourself hesitantly putting forward an opinion and watering it down with the word woo, tune in to why you feel this is. From my own times using the woo word, it was because a witch wound was being triggered so I was scared to put forward a spiritual point of view.

The witch wound is something that affects us all and I’m going to do a whole separate blog about it after I read the book Witch by Lisa Lister. Once it’s ready it will be linked here!

But it’s this witch wound from our past lifetimes where we were persecuted for our beliefs (which was probably everyone reading this blog) that compels us to label our beliefs more safely as weird and woo instead of true.

How would it feel to remove the woo and just say what you really want to say?

How would it feel to give your advice, knowing that it’s what someone needs, without feeling like you need to say it’s a bit silly?

How else could you share your spiritual opinion while honouring the power that you know it has?

If we leave no room for the word woo, then we’re taking up all of the space available with our truth of what we believe to be right; and not only what we believe to be right, but what we believe to be helpful. That’s why we’re putting it forward in the first place.

So, this is just something to think about – and again, no judgement for using the word woo because I did too! Hence why I’m writing this, because I had the realisation of why I was actually doing it and why I have since stopped…

I believe that the spiritual point of view is becoming more and more normal, and soon there’ll be no need for the word woo because we won’t have to water down our ideas and opinions because more people will see how they’re valuable.

If you think that something is going to heal and enlighten people, then just share it with the world without feeling like you need to acknowledge that other people think it’s silly.

If you don’t think it’s silly then say it because you think it’s true – without the word woo.

  • What Past Life Regression Is Like…

PAST LIVES are something that have always fascinated humanity, and if you’re curious about seeing yours – there’s a way that you can.

For the first time ever, I had a past life regression after leaving it on my to-do list for many years. I never found the right person to take me through the process until I finally met Daniel @ The Past Life Regressionist.

I’ve tried and tested so many different types of readings, but this was like no other because I was the one experiencing it all…

When you have a past life regression, it’s not someone telling you what they see. It’s you experiencing everything that you can see from your own past lives.

Our past lives are something that we casually refer to in conversation, like saying that people we know are “probably from a past life” (for more about this, see my other blog How To Know If You Have A Past Life Connection With Someone).

You may also feel inexplicably enamored by certain places or styles, for example, I’ve always felt attached to Japan and when I had my Reiki attunement this just got even stronger. When I looked around my house, I noticed that there were white flying cranes, delicate fan prints and oriental waves emblazoned all over my interiors, bedsheets and mugs.

The funny thing? I’ve never even been to Japan!

⋆☽ What is Past Life Regression? ☾⋆

If you connect with the idea that your soul comes back to Earth again and again and is born into different bodies over many different lifetimes, then that’s what you’ll be exploring more during your past life regression.

What many people don’t know about past life regression is that it’s an immensely healing experience.

We can hold on to so much trauma from our past lives where we were betrayed, killed, silenced or heartbroken in some way, and then that stays in our energy field where it can still affect us.

By going through this regression experience, we can unlock the wounds which we haven’t been able to fully heal so far because we didn’t make them in this life.

⋆☽ What happens in a regression session? ☾⋆

As The Past Life Regressionist is based in California and I’m in England, we held our session over Zoom. This would have been the case for any regressionist I used though, as I had my session during the pandemic.

And if you’re wondering – no, it didn’t lessen my experience at all!

I also did an interview with the regressionist on my podcast to share more about how taking people through their other lifetimes works. Listen to Time Travel with The Past Life Regressionist here 🎙️

A questionnaire was sent to me beforehand so that I could get clear on my intentions for the meeting and anything that I particularly wanted to look into, and then the first hour of the session was spent having a consultation.

I’ve had hypnotherapy before – 3 sessions for generalised anxiety disorder + 2 for fear of public speaking – and the process was very similar to that. The state of hypnosis that I went into also felt the same as when I had hypnotherapy.

I feel obliged to mention here that there is some serious stigma around what “hypnosis” really means! In absolutely no way are you at the mercy of your regressionist. You are entirely conscious and aware, but you’re just in a very relaxed state that I’d describe as like being in a deep meditation.

It was very easy for me to get into this state as I was lying on my sofa alone in my own home, under a nice blanket…

Then, once it’s time to begin after the consultation, your practitioner talks you through the beginning of the regression to relax you and bring you through various states of consciousness; through an Alpha state to a Theta state.

Once they’ve led you through the meditation, you’ll probably have some visualisation practice where you describe certain images so that you get used to saying exactly what you’re seeing in your mind.

If you have any clairvoyant ability, then you’ll likely see your past lives in the same way as you see a vision. If you don’t, then it’s kind of like seeing movie images in your mind.

I also found that my experience was very sentient too, for example, in one lifetime I knew I was poisoned from feeling very dizzy and like the room was spinning, and I was also moved to tears going into one of my other lifetimes because I was so upset at what happened.

I don’t want any of these to frighten you though because, as I said before, I was completely in control and at any moment in the regression I could have instantly come out of it just by opening my eyes if I wanted to.

    ⋆☽ What did I see? ☾⋆

Now, for the exciting part! What I actually saw…

For me, my lifetimes moved in chronological order – ranging from 6000 BC to Victorian times. That said, I only saw 5 lifetimes so you can expect to just see the ones which are the most important for you to acknowledge and heal.

My session was about 5 hours in total but I didn’t realise it at all. In the first lifetime that I saw, I was an Egyptian heir to the throne. But I wasn’t the son of a ruler as such – my father was a spiritual leader who was in charge at the time.

There were pyramids (yep, just like you’d imagine) and I was stood watching a human sacrifice. I felt like something wasn’t quite right, as if they didn’t really get what spirituality meant (!) and I found it all very cold and ritualistic. The rituals meant everything in that lifetime.

I was probably aged between 17-19 in the vision and when I asked myself why I died, that’s when the room started spinning and I realised that I’d been poisoned. Afterwards, I Googled whether human sacrifice took place in Egypt because I’d never heard of it before and that’s where I got the date of 6000 BC.

On to the next lifetime I went…

In the next lifetime, I was part of a jungle tribe and my existence was simple and beautiful; everyone was completely in tune with nature and astrology was a sacred part of how we ran our lives. I was being shown this lifetime as an example of how easy life can be and how wonderful it feels to be in flow with nature.

Not much to learn here, but a welcome reminder of how good life can be.

    The next lifetime…

Then I moved into the 1600’s where I was a lowly woman who lived in a village of huts between towering tall trees in a forest. A colonial man on a horse came in and set the village alight, making me fall to my knees screaming as I stared at a burning hut with my baby inside.

I was so overcome with emotion that I started crying, which is unusual for me, but I was genuinely distraught. After doing some healing work with the regressionist, I saw my soul floating out of that body as if I’d managed to finally release the trauma that I’d been holding onto ever since.

I don’t know about other regressionists, but Daniel has a specific technique to help you release any trauma from each lifetime if you need it.

    Now, for another beautiful lifetime!

My beloved Japan… being a spiritual teacher and writer, and again, feeling so in tune with nature.

Between Mount Fuji and the pink cherry blossom, there I was, living my best life! This was one for the memory books, and again – like the jungle life – is something that I can always try to attain while I’m here and in the lives still to come.

    The last one I saw…

I was born a wealthy lady in a Victorian manor house and because of my class, I was fortunate enough to have an education. My heart was telling me that I wanted to write but the husband of the arranged marriage that I was in thought differently.

I could see myself talking to the house staff, who were the only people that I really felt connected to, but then I’d get scolded and snatched away from them because we weren’t meant to mix with other classes. The aristocracy which could be seen from the outside as a blessing felt like a suffocating curse.

I saw us stood by the fireplace arguing and him snatching the paper that I was writing on before throwing it into the fire. Again, emotion started to rise up and I felt furious, as though I absolutely couldn’t stand this man.

No surprise… more healing and release work was required for this one!

    ⋆☽ What did I learn? ☾⋆

The main thing I learned is that we still carry so much emotional baggage from other lifetimes.

I can see how it would be easy to write it off as just illusions and metaphors rising up from our subconscious, which is why I believe it’s important to actually experience it before you make any kind of judgement.

Otherwise, you have a very incomplete picture to base your assessment on.

It confirmed some of the things that I already intuitively felt, like my attachment to certain places, and it helped me to reach some of the grief and trauma that I would never have been able to access here and now without the session.

I saw a common theme of writing which I wasn’t surprised by at all, as writing is still my favourite thing to do. And I also crossed paths with some dear friends that, again – no surprise, were with me through many other incarnations.

    ☽ ☆ ☾

Overall, I think that if you’ve been drawn to read this article then it’s for a reason. When we have that intuitive pull towards something like this, it’s because our soul senses that our time is coming and it’s almost ready to dive deeper.

There might be something in a past life regression session for you that could give you the answers you haven’t found yet. My experience was profound, healing and will stay with me forever.

If you decide to have one too, I hope that yours will be the same!

  • The Truth About Twin Flames

TWIN FLAME is thrown around so much in the spiritual community, but what does it really mean?

Everyone who I’ve seen declare that they’re with their twin flame has since broken up, and this is not uncommon for twin flames. The others who are in happy long-term relationships are probably misusing the term twin flame when they actually mean soulmate.

These are very different roles and you probably have soulmates who are not just romantic partners, but dear friends and members of your family.

First, we need to understand what a twin flame is, and then it becomes clearer what their role is in our life if we ever meet them…

A twin flame is thought to be the other half of a soul. This means that a soul would be splitting and entering two bodies, so if the twin flames ever meet, it will be an intense connection where the highs are so high because you feel like you’re the same person.

However, the lows are also so low because you have the exact same shadows which are repelling each other like the same side of two magnets.

You will find that a soulmate is a loving and fun connection, whereas a twin flame is here to make you wake TF up!

As the other side of your soul, they are the divine masculine opposite to your divine feminine or vice versa. By romanticizing it, you’re giving it a human experience when really it’s a union that has come together for your spiritual advancement.

As I wrote in How To Know If You Have A Past Life Connection With Someone, you might find that if you meet a twin flame there’ll be instant recognition and an undeniable sense that you have known each other for a very, VERY long time.

This split soul connection will allow for easy telepathy and you’ll probably have a strong sense of clairempathy when it comes to this person, for example, you can feel what they’re feeling even if they’re in another country.

Of course, you will be very similar – and in many ways, you’ll probably find that you’re a good match because you’re freakily identical in some aspects. This can feel intoxicating, but being inebriated isn’t always a good thing. Intense relationships are rarely destined to last and the flame between twin souls will often burn out.

The intensity is a challenge to overcome so that you can stand your ground as an individual, and they’re showing you all of the aspects of yourself in human form that you’re meant to work on in this lifetime.

Rather than completing you, they’re a reminder of your strength. During your time on this Earth, you’re not meant to cling to and rely on another person – so the challenge being presented is to connect with your own sovereignty to find your own divinity and creation power.

By breaking your heart they may be activating you so that you realise you’re strong and powerful on your own. Or alternatively, they may reject any advances for a romantic union because it’s distracting you from that, so they may be tricky to get into a relationship at all.

By helping you to ascend to true enlightenment which is a state of non-attachment, they might avoid attachment with you at all costs. They’ll probably be in your life for only a short time and it’s very unlikely that they’ll be lifelong partners.

Not everyone has a twin flame so it’s not that common; it’s actually very rare for people to be true twin flames. The people who have them are meant to see them as a human mirror for certain parts of themselves.

The twin flame is activating latent energies within you which can add to the intensity of the experience and make it incredibly addictive and emotionally intense, because the awakening that they create within you is profound and life altering.

However they transform you, you can guarantee that after meeting them you’ll be transformed in some way. Did they break you? Good. And did they make you turn to a spiritual path that you’ve been on ever since? Their job is done.
