• How To Start Journaling For Powerful Breakthroughs

    One of the best ways to change what’s going on in your mind is to get a pen in your hand.

    When I start working with a new coaching client, one of the first things that I’ll ask them is: “Do you journal…?”

    If the answer is no, I check that they have a fresh notebook and then tell them these same strategies for powerful and effective journaling that I’m going to tell you today.

    The way that you journal is going to change depending on how you feel and what you hope to achieve with it. For example, if you’re trying to manifest something, you’re going to need a different style of journaling than if you are struggling with low mood and want to reconnect with yourself.

    I know that journaling has changed my life and the lives of so many other people, so I want it to do the same for you too.

    Try these 4 different types of journaling and see what kind of results you get; in my experience and the experiences of my clients, they have all led to powerful breakthroughs ↓

    Great for:  Manifesting.  Energy upgrades & alignment.  Identity shifts.

    I’m talking about this type of journaling first because it’s undoubtedly the one that has changed my life the most. The things that I have written after these 2 words – over and over again – have become real in my life within 2 years. Obviously, there are still other things which haven’t arrived yet, but I know that they’re coming.

    This type of journaling is truly transformative.

    The reason why it’s so powerful is that it helps you to embody the person that you will be with this new thing in order to manifest it. It’s that energy alignment with your future state which will attract your future manifestations.

    The first time that you write “I AM…”, you might feel ridiculous, but then after repeating it over the course of days or weeks, it becomes normal. As you get used to writing “I AM…”, the words become your reality. The words become who you think you are. The words become the next phase of your life.

    There are 2 ways that you can do this:

    • You can write the same thing over and over again
    • Or you can write a page full of different “I AM” statements

    You can use “I AM”s to list the different pieces of your new life as though they are all together. This gives you a complete vision of what your life will be like and all of the things that’ll be in it.

    When you truly believe that all of the “I AM’s” you write are possible, you unlock the door to another dimension where they are.

    Great for:  Lifting a low mood.  Positive mindset.  Manifesting.

    Often our mind is so busy that we forget to appreciate all of the moments which are truly magical. Writing a “thank you list” during your journaling session gives you the opportunity to capture all of these moments on paper.

    As well as being grateful for everything that you have now, you can also be grateful for what’s to come in the future. This is another way of aligning your energy with that future version of you who is living in another dimension where you’ve just received what you’re manifesting.

    How will you feel? Grateful!

    When you’re writing that you are grateful for what you’re manifesting as though you’ve just received it, you are bringing it into being. 

    You can be grateful for:

    • How you feel
    • What you have experienced
    • What you have eaten
    • Who you have spoken to
    • What you cherish
    • The home that you have around you
    • And everything that’s to come in your future ✨

    Great for:  Releasing burdens.  Asking for help.  Connecting to your guides/Angels/God.

    If you’re looking for a deeper connection with the Universe, then why not write it a letter?

    By writing a letter to the Universe you can create a line of open communication with it.

    Without realising, we can so often become unclear on what we want and how we feel because we have so many contradictions and conflicting ideas. Our limiting beliefs say one thing and our desires say another!

    By writing a letter to the Universe, you can clarify your own thoughts and post them to a higher power.

    There are multiple things that you can write in this letter, including:

    • Requests, ie, “please help me (or someone else) with…”
    • Things you are grateful for
    • Asking for clarity, signs or reasons to be revealed

    This is not just about the Universe understanding what you want and how you feel; it’s also about you revealing this to yourself.

    This is a great way of handing over responsibility and relinquishing control of the things that you don’t really have control over anyway.

    Surrender your worries to the Universe and know that they are being taken care of. Write the reasons why you feel the way that you do, knowing that they are understood. Request help, knowing that it will be given.

    Great for:  Channeling messages.  Releasing burdens.  Relieving anxiety.

    If you’ve been feeling all of the feels lately – or a structure isn’t appealing today – feel free to have a brain dump on a page of your journal.

    This is your opportunity to open up and let it all out. Whatever you want to say, you can say!

    The most important thing is that you don’t let your mind talk you out of what you really want to write.

    How are you feeling? What are you thinking? And what wants to come through?

    Set a strong intention to connect with whoever you want: Angels, your galactic team, spirit guides, or anyone else. You might notice the energy centres in the palms of your hands getting activated as you do this.

    Are you prone to aches, pains and irritating illnesses?

    If you’re someone who always has a cough or cold, for example, then it could be a warning sign that you’re letting in too much energy which isn’t your own. Over time, this low vibration energy can build up until it manifests as a blockage in one of your chakras and causes you to become ill.

    The most commonly affected chakra is the throat, when empaths don’t say what needs to be said for fear of hurting someone’s feelings or harming a relationship. Your body will lovingly give you warnings to tell you that you’re energetically overloaded.

    Have you been taking longer than usual to decide because you’re struggling to pick a direction?


    Confusion is to be expected when you have empathic overload! Picking up on everyone else’s energies can be bewildering for your intuition and mean that you’re prioritising other people’s emotions ahead of your own.

    Doing what’s right for you can be hard as an empath if it means giving someone else less than the best, but you need to be the master of your own fate. With better boundaries in place, the cloudy path to what you really want will become clearer.

    Have you been feeling low, worried and anxious?

    When the emotions we’ve collected don’t know which way to go, they can manifest in a way that will force us to stop and name them. It’s normal to experience more negative emotions than usual when you have empathic overload, but, while feeling other people’s stress is a sign of your compassion – it isn’t particularly productive.

    Ground your energy and refocus any thoughts which are making you feel unstable or unsupported.

    With these feelings of confusion and anxiety, it’s harder to maintain the high energetic vibration that you need for easy manifesting!

    If you’re finding it more difficult than usual to attract what you want, or you’re attracting results which are slightly “off” from what you’ve been asking for, the Law of Attraction could be telling you something.

    Keeping your energy light and free from other people’s burdens will ensure that you’re a magnet for abundance!

Lift the load so that I can raise my vibration and shine brightly again.”



  • Why You Should Celebrate All The Small Wins

    Coronavirus quarantine has shaken up the whole world, and so many people’s individual worlds.

    It’s taken away a sense of certainty, which isn’t always a bad thing – and here’s why…

    As an entrepreneur (note: if you’re making money outside of a “normal” job then you are one!) you don’t always have stability, especially at the beginning.

    You never know when your next win’s going to come in, or your next cause for celebration.

    I’ve been incredibly lucky to have had my best month in business so far in April, along with getting my Soul & Spirit article published, and an exciting award nomination which I’ll be announcing in the next 2 weeks 🏆✨

    I have a lucky 3’s rule and it’s definitely true this month! As I’m seeing these things coming off my vision board, I’ve been having mini celebrations; but it’s got me thinking – when is the big celebration?

    One of my favourite documentaries of all time is The Defiant Ones. I’ve watched the whole series 3x through in the last 2 years, and I find it so inspirational because it shows the real rise to success of people like Jimmy Iovine, Dr Dre, Eminem, and lots more of my success heroes.

    Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails says in it that his success was built brick-by-brick, so there was no ‘one day’ where he suddenly had success… and that’s literally how it goes!

    It can be too easy as inspired people to just want to race towards the next thing, and hit the next milestone. Maybe you’re trying to get that new business off the ground. Maybe you’re trying to create a new income so that you can escape from a job you hate.

    But the small wins are the only wins.

    There’s no ‘one day’ where you’ll get everything at once. Have a mini success party for every single amazing thing that happens. This is a way of being super grateful; by having a private energetic party for yourself and raising your vibration.

    This is also an amazing thing to do if you’re in a low mood. You can still celebrate doing the food shop, you can still celebrate cooking a meal, and you can still celebrate getting yourself up, ready and dressed.

    There is so much to celebrate in everyday life.

    So, please don’t forget it – regardless of what the news and media tell you!

    It’s not all doom and gloom. There are wins in everyday life. There are wins happening in your business. Wins happening in the ideas that you’re getting now which will turn into something that will create abundance, prosperity and fulfilment for you in the future.

    Winning is not a single event, winning is done through small individual things coming into fruition. You won’t just look back once and think: “Wow, I’ve done it all!

    You’ll look back many different times and think: “How did I get from there to here? Life is so much better now.

    No-one else might be able to see the small wins or they might not think that your small wins are big enough to celebrate.

    But YOU know the work you’ve put in and YOU know what it took. YOU know what you’ve overcome, so it’s YOUR responsibility to celebrate your small wins – even if no-one else will celebrate them with you.

    The small wins are the only wins there are. They will get bigger and bigger and bigger, but they are all individual in nature. Don’t expect your vision board to turn into 3D all at once. Things will come off one by one when the time is right for them to manifest.

    Count your small wins everyday as things to be grateful for. Everyone’s wins will look different but they are all just as important as each other to the person who has won them.

    Through Coronavirus – every day/every week/every month (and then after quarantine carry on as a habit) – remind yourself…

  • How To Set Goals For An Abundant Year In 2020 ✨

    The “new year, new you” rhetoric is pretty old. We’ve gone through a lot of years by now and know that they fly past quicker each time, so you can give yourself a break for not achieving absolutely EVERYTHING that you want to in a single solitary year.

    But I think 2020 is special for more than the fact that it’s a new year – it’s the first year of a whole new decade!

    You’re here, reading this because you’re a manifestor who knows and loves the Law of Attraction. So, more than what you want to get for 2020 and the decade that follows, you need to be thinking about who you most want to be. 

    The person you decide to embody will define your energetic expectations of what is normal, necessary and what you deserve.

    You are a free, luminous soul and you can become anything that you want to be. Escape the limits of who you think you should be, and step into the possibility of who you can become…

    As a double Earth sign, organisation is my jam and I love to make lists. But even if you’re not similar to me in that way, I know that you are also continually working on your mindset so that you can become a better version of yourself.

    For this reason, I want you to choose whether you’re going to set Action Based Goals or Outcome Based Goals for 2020 so that you can manifest all of the success you desire.

    When you make an outcome based goal for yourself, you’re setting an intention that you’re going to receive something. Some examples of outcome based goals could be:

    ↠ I’m going to have an article featured on Forbes by 2021

    ↠ My boyfriend will propose this year

    ↠ I will make $10,000 a month consistently in sales during Q3 & Q4 of 2020

    We all have our own wins that we want and outcome based goals offer something concrete to strive for, as well as being super satisfying to tick off your list when you finally get the prize.

    Top Manifesting Tip: What’s the reason for your outcome based goals? Your why is the energy and intent that’s creating your new manifestation. The why behind your why carries huge power over whether you reach your outcome based goals or not!

    It’s good to have a few of these goals for 2020, but if you’re chasing things out of scarcity and desperation then they’ll stay on that list of yours for years to come. Use your intuition to tap into what will make your heart and soul happy, because they’re the outcomes that will genuinely bring you the most joy and satisfaction.

    To set outcome based goals, ask yourself: 1) what you want to achieve, 2) by when, and – most importantly – 3) why…

    On the other hand, action based goals can feel a whole lot scarier to write down because we’re committing to actually DO something. It can feel more easy and fun to dream up outcome based goals without planning how on earth we’re going to achieve them, but an action based goal is a promise that you make to yourself. Such as:

    ↠ I’m going to do my first TEDx talk in 2020

    ↠ I will create my first online course this year

    ↠ My morning routine will include writing down 3 things I’m grateful for every day

    I would encourage you to add more action based than outcome based goals to your 2020 list because they are strategic planning steps. You’ll need to plan the actions that will get you to your outcome based goals anyway, so by including some steps here – you’re saving yourself a job that’s too easily forgotten.

    Unpopular Manifesting Fact: Without doing the action steps that will move you closer to what you want, you may as well wait for unicorns to bring it to you…

    The actions that you set yourself in 2020 say a lot about you and what you’re serious about achieving. Get clear on what aligned action looks like for you and what you think you could realistically accomplish within a 1-year timeframe.

    To set action based goals, ask yourself: 1) what you would love to do, 2) specifically which brand/number/aspiration you’re aiming for, and 3) why you want to do it…

    Your soul wants to experience all of your desires. Don’t hold back and lie to yourself by only writing down small goals that will uphold the illusion of feeling safe and secure.

    Scare yourself. Think about the action steps. Get specific, not vague. See the challenges between you and your goals by staying grounded, but know that you can see the solutions when you connect your intuition to the source above.
